Fred

Fred continues to pastor Calvary Baptist Church, shephering with his kind, loving, caring, and patient heart. He loves the family unconditionally and helps anyone in need of a ride, a hospital visit, or anything else they ask of him. January marks his 26th year of service at CBC.

Robin

Robin has never been busier, as she babysits two little girls from church, Melia and Maylei, homeschools Micah, leads the adult and children's choir, is a mentor for MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), and plays the piano for the Worship team. There is definitely no time for weekly massages, or even monthly for that matter! Michael, another foster baby, kept her busy this past spring and summer as well!

Matt

Matt continues to work as a lawyer at Temple University in Philadelphia. He enjoys going home to Chrissy and Mira each evening. Church activities have also kept him busy, leading the youth group each week and having the role of Joseph in this year's Christmas play. Matt will be turning the big 3-0 on Christmas Eve!

Chrissy

We are celebrating with Chrissy as she just completed her Masters in Education! She is enjoying staying home with Mira this year and is keeping busy with play dates and "Making a Mess" classes with Mira.

Mira Joy

Mira Joy is now 21 months! She has brought so much joy to the whole family! Mira keeps Chrissy busy and entertains her, each day saying new words, her favorite being belly button!

Beth

Beth again had the opportunity to spend 6 weeks this summer in Taiwan working at The Home of God's Love orphanage. She continues teaching first grade at Patriot Preparatory Academy in Columbus, Ohio, sharing an apartment with Joel.

Joel

This has been a busy year for Joel and we have seen God answer many prayers on his behalf! In July, Joel moved to Columbus and started a new job as Patriot Preparatory Academy's business manager (Yes, that is the school where Beth works). On December 7, he got engaged to Katie Baumgardner. They plan to be married sometime in Summer 2012. We are looking forward to Katie joining the family!

Nate

Nate and Alle just celebrated their second year of marriage on December 19, and will be celebrating their first Christmas as a family of three. Nate continues working hard at two jobs and stays plenty busy.

Mira had the opportunity to meet her cousin, Auggie, for the first time in October at Cedarville's Homecoming!

Alle

Alle has taken on a new role this year of Mother and seems to enjoy her new "Lion Cub." She continues working part-time at Cypress Christian Academy as an administrative assistant and has also taken up blogging.

Augustine

Augustine, more commonly called Auggie, is the youngest McCloskey in the family right now. Born to Nate and Alle on March 16th, he is now 9 months old and seems to be going incredibly quickly! Isn't he cute?!

Micah

Micah continues to get busier and busier! At 11 years old, he plays soccer and basketball, takes hip hop and tap dance lessons, and continues piano and acting lessons. Young Marines is a big part of his life and he was recently promoted to Lance Corporal. Though not his favorite activity, school is also an important part of Micah's life. He keeps busy with his 6th grade coursework and goes to co-op every Friday for some of his classes, Apologetics being his favorite.

Micah has marched in several parades with Young Marines this year.
